Day 4
Bus departed from Chiang Mai at 3pm, arriving in Chiang Rai 3 hours later. It was already dark. We went to the Night Bazaar just a few blocks from our guesthouse. Travelfish said it’s the only place to be after dark. After that, we went to the Saturday Night Walking Street on Thanalai Road, where this photo was taken. Bought some jewelries. They were the only things that could fill the tight spaces in my backpack. If my bag was bigger, I would have bought almost everything they sold at the market. There was a debate going on inside my head whether it was rational to bring them home. Luckily, I still had my sanity. The last thing I want to deal with is, “where do I keep this funny hat?”
